Is Same-Sex Attraction a Sin?
Published April 1, 2026
Is it a morally culpable sin to simply be attracted to the same sex?” As recently as the 2010s, most Christians seemed to agree that the answer to this question was obviously “no.” But in the last decade or so, many prominent voices have started to argue that same-sex attraction actually is a morally culpable sin.
Since this conversation is changing rapidly, we wanted to create a comprehensive, up-to-date resource that addresses the current arguments and makes a compelling case for what we believe the Bible clearly teaches. That’s why The Center’s own Preston Sprinkle and Greg Coles have teamed up to write our newest pastoral paper: “Is Same-Sex Attraction a Sin?”
